I’d like to tell you about the excellent customer service experience I had on Monday, July 15th, when Dennis, Jeff and Raul replaced my roof-top A/C unit, my thermostat, and the furnace in my condo. Please share this e-mail with them and other managers at Assurance HVAC.
I’ve been requesting Dennis exclusively, since 2007, for my annual fall furnace and spring A/C check-ups because I trust him to give me outstanding service. This May, during my A/C check-up, he suggested that I think about upgrading my 39-year-old thermostat, A/C and furnace units. I told him I trusted him to order what he felt would be the best units for me. He did, and the installation date was scheduled for Monday, July 15.
Raul spent several hours in the blistering heat and humidity, on my building’s roof, installing the new A/C unit. When he finished, because I’m a bit of a technological “dinosaur”, he very patiently explained how to work the new thermostat. He also supplied a new base plate, since the new thermostat didn’t completely cover the hole in the wall left by the old thermostat.
Before Jeff could even begin installing the new furnace he spent several hours making modifications to the existing metal enclosure/structure, since the new furnace is a little bigger than the old one. He pointed out that while the furnace is larger, the space that holds the filter is smaller. The 14 x 20 filters I’ve been using wouldn’t fit. I needed a filter that was 13 x 21. Dennis made phone calls and found a 13 x 23 filter so that I’d have one on Monday and Tuesday. He promised to return Wednesday morning with a box of the correct size filters.
Once Jeff had the new furnace installed and hooked up, Dennis began testing it. That’s when they realized that several of the new filters weren’t working properly. They made phone calls until they found a new heat kit. Dennis promised he would bring it with him on Wednesday and install it. He did, and everything is working perfectly.

Jimmy realized quickly that the circuit board of my 19 year old furnace had fried itself along with other substantial needed repairs. He somehow was able to let me physically turn on and off the air conditioning which was much needed with the outside summer temperatures. My dog has a condition that causes her to overheat herself . . . being able to cool down the condo was essential for her physical health.
You somehow managed to get the new furnace installed the very next morning. I really appreciated not having to manually turn on and off the furnace, especially at night! Being retired and on a fixed income, I more- than-you-will- know appreciate the fair price you charged for this un-budgeted expense. Dipping into dwindling savings is never easy.
I would have preferred to attach a humidifier to the furnace but opted not because of the likelihood the overhead vent above the ceiling next to the furnace room would again drip water . . . as it had done once before. I did not want to incur the additional cost of a humidifier only to realize the overhead vent would again leak water and cause ceiling damage.
Finally, George and Rick installed the furnace as well as the condenser plus coil on the roof along with a new thermostat. Both guys know their work well and each did an exceptional job. In addition to being an expert of furnace installations, George also has the ability to communicate effectively with customers. George is a real
professional and all around nice guy.

Derrick the sales person was responsive, knowledgeable and gave me a very fair estimate. Derrick schedule my new furnace and air conditioner as quick as possible. Nathan and Lucas the installers showed up early to start work and both worked hard all day. Nathan and Lucas were professional the whole time at my house. The service we got from Assurance was top notch! We had them come out to clean our ducts, and they did a thorough, clean job. Raul and Steve were the techs. They were friendly, experienced, professional, quick, and efficient. They removed so much debris from our ducts, which included carpet fibers, paint chips, fine drywall dust. We had remodeled our home in 2017.. to think we’ve been breathing all that in is scary! The air in the house is so much cleaner now. I will definitely be using Assurance Heating going forward for all of my HVAC needs.

During the 2019 Polar Votex my furnace quit working late in the day. I made a call to Assurance and they were able to get a technician to my house within a couple of hours to get the furnace working through the night. They returned the following day with a new furnace and were able to get me back up and running at full capacity with a new furnace. This all happened within 18 hours. I was very impressed by their response time, ability to get a bad furnace working to limp through the night and finally how quickly they got the new furnace to my house and installed. The techs were professional in all aspects. They protected my house while working, cleaned up after themselves and were able to tackle all hurdles that stood in their way. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, without hesitation.
